Thought:
Split your time in chunks, and pick a theme for each chunk. Do something entirely unrelated between chunks.
Why? How?
Split your time in chunks, and pick a theme for each chunk. Do something entirely unrelated between chunks.
If you’ve been stuck into an endless Youtube vortex, you’re not alone.
Social media and other distractions are engineered to capture our attention.
So time management has become an ever-more-important skill to develop.
One very effective method is time theming. In order to manage your time better, split it into small chunks. That way, you can avoid zoning out after doing the same task over and over again.
So how does time theming work?
Split each day into subtasks. Assin 25-min slots to each tasks. After each 25min slots, take a 3-5 minutes break (simply walk around, get some water, or stretch). Then move on to the next task.
Tasks can be related, of course, but if you can split large tasks into mini 25-min ones, you’ll become much more effective at getting them done.
